The proposed road closure along the N24 in Carrick-on-Suir has been passed to facilitate the ongoing Pavement Improvement Scheme and will come into effect from Tuesday 7/2/2023. This will involve a one-way system sending eastbound traffic to the back of St Mary’s CBS National School, the Green and Ash Park and rejoining the N24 just before St. Brigid’s Hospital. Please note that this diverted route will also be a one-way system. Westbound traffic will remain on the N24 as normal and O’Mahoney Avenue will remain a two-way system until further notice.
See below for a letter drop and drawing which is being distributed across the town detailing the temporary route. We endeavour to minimise the disruption we cause during these essential works, and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused. If you have any immediate concerns or queries in relation to the works you can phone the Roads Capital Department in Tipperary County Council at 0818 06 5000.
